Official Brands We Represent
SANTA LUCIA
In the mid-1500s, Spanish priests introduced the first vines to Chile. At that time, due to the rigor of the Catholic conquerors, the priority was the production of mass wine.
Santa Lucía is a tribute to those priests, since our first vineyards were acquired on a December 13th, the day that “Santa Lucía de Siracusa” is celebrated.
SAN CLEMENTE
San Clemente, where most of Valle Frio’s vineyards are located, is a rural area located in Chile‘s Maule Region, at the foothills of Andes mountains. It has some of the most spectacular natural landscapes in central Chile, being the Maule falls its iconic spot.
San Clemente’s culture is a great example of how ancient countryside traditions are still alive among its people, being passed down from generation to generation. One of them, and perhaps the most characteristic, is the passion for good wine. Centennial vineyards in this area, offer fruits of great concentration and superior quality, which, combined with the expertise and dedication of the people of
San Clemente, give rise to the wines of Valle Frio.
ALTA GAMA
Alta Gamma is a game of words. “Alta Gama” is Spanish for “High end”. It refers to wines with exceptional quality, with the best characteristics, which make them stand out from the rest. On the other hand, “Gamma” is the Greek letter used to name one of the brighter stars in a constellation. That is how “Alta Gamma” is born. One of the first brands, with wines that are characterized by an extraordinary quality at all ranges, which makes them shine wherever they are tasted around the world.
CANTAGUA
Cantagua is the blend of the Words “Canto” (sing) and “Agua” (water). This concept represents the wonderful place in our state where, if you pay attention, you can hear the sound the birds make when they softly touch the Lircay River, as it nourishes our vineyards.
With this song in the background our grapes are irrigated, giving way to the aromas, tastes and colors that are so unique to our Cantagua wines.
